Tanner Rouse

Tanner Rouse is a trial attorney that has tried hundreds of cases to successful verdicts over an eight year career.

As a member of the Office of District Attorney of Philadelphia, Tanner was promoted to the prestigious homicide unit after only six years in the office, making him one of the youngest members of the unit and the first member of his class to earn such a promotion. In addition, Tanner was selected to the Hiring Committee, served as an Office Mentor and was among the leaders in implementing the Office's revolutionary GunStat program. Following his career as a prosecutor, Tanner was a Democratic candidate for State Senate in Delaware County, earning more than 8,000 votes despite running against a two-term mayor and 20 year resident. After completing his run Tanner immediately joined the law offices of Kunnel, Ortiz and Thiruselvam where he specializes in personal injury and civil litigation matters. Tanner brings a client-focused approach and thousands of hours of trial work to the practice.

Tanner received a B.A. in Political Science and Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was a member of the Political Science Honors Society, a constituent services intern for Gov. Jim Doyle and the voice of the Wisconsin Badgers for 91.7 WSUM. He completed his legal degree at Fordham University School of Law in New York where he was an active member of the Fordham Sports Law Association, Vice President of the Fordham Law Democrats and spent much of his final semester working with the Service members Legal Defense Network to overturn Don't Ask, Don't Tell.

Mr. Rouse was part of the KOTLAW trial team that earned one of the largest verdicts recorded in Bucks County in recent history.

Tanner lives in Upper Providence, Delaware County with his wife, Ursula and son, Will. He is a member of his local Democratic Committee, a trustee of the Rouse Family Charitable Trust and a rabid Philadelphia sports fan.
